On Friday, October 26, our second grade class participated in Make-A-Difference Day, a national day of community service.  For our project, we created "Welcome Bags" for children who come to our school later in the year.  Each hand-decorated goodie bag contained a smiley face pencil and eraser, a note pad, a friendship bracelet and a letter from one of our class members welcoming them to Central School.  These bags will be given to new students when they register.
